At various times during his career, Duncan has been a welder, banker, investor, financial analyst, practicing accountant, independent contractor and business executive. At present, he is the chief financial officer at Rocky Mountain Health Plans and also serves on the Colorado Mesa University investment advisory committee, the Quality Health Network finance committee, the Health Plan Alliance finance subcommittee (an alliance of 47 not-for-profit community- based health plans) and the board of managers of Monument Health.
Duncan graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Wyoming in 1986 and has been a licensed certified public accountant since 1990. He belongs to the Colorado Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and is a chartered global management accountant.
Pat is happily married to Jeanne Duncan and has three grown children, Colton, Connor, and Katie. His interests include fishing, motorcycling, golfing, world travel, the mandolin, guitar, and hiking with his dogs.
