Monument Health gives back to many local organizations and non-profits whose missions also promote health and wellness.
In February, Monument Health was a sponsor for Hope West’s annual Boots and Black Tie Gala. Hope West provides hospice, bereavement counseling, and integrated health care to meet their mission of “profoundly changing the way communities experience aging, serious illness and grief—one family at a time.” Anyone who has experienced the power of Hope West’s care and their social and counseling programs in our community, knows the staff live out this mission daily. Monument Health is proud to sponsor Hope West and the important work they do every day.
Our wellness warriors were able to support Girls on the Run (GOTR) Western Colorado by hand delivering 600 water bottles for our elementary school participants in Mesa County. We were so pleased to ensure that each young girl had a water bottle to kick-off their weekly practices. We hope to expand our donation to Montrose next year. Girls on the Run is an inspiring organization that “promotes confidence and joy by unlocking our young girls’ limitless potential through running.” Be sure to save the date and register for the 5k in Fruita or Montrose on May 2, 2020.
