Amber Gillard

Population Health Intern

Amber Gillard serves as a population health intern as a part of the “care transitions” team. Amber is currently a senior at Colorado Mesa University and will be graduating in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and a Chemistry Minor. She is an involved student at CMU as she holds a research position and is the President of the pre-medical/pre-graduate club on campus called the Graduate Education in Medical Sciences (GEMS) Club. After graduation, Amber hopes to attend graduate school and become a Physician Assistant. She also enjoys hiking, rock climbing and snowboarding with her husband and two playful dogs. Amber is excited to learn more about a progressive approach to healthcare and intends to incorporate what she learns into her future career as a Physician Assistant.
