Coloradans are in need of support for mental health and substance abuse. According to the National Rehab Hotline, “a staggering 19.55% of Colorado residents suffer from some type of mental disorder. Making matters worse, seven counties of Colorado, (Baca, Bent, Conejos, Rio Grande, Las Animas, Costilla, and Huerfano), consistently rank among the US counties with the highest rate of drug overdose deaths.”
